Implementation
How long does implementation take?
Most properties complete implementation within 2-6 weeks, depending on property sizeand complexity. The process includes RFID tagging (or retrofitting), reader installation,system configuration, staff training, and go-live support. We work with your schedule tominimize operational disruption.
Will implementation disrupt our daily operations?
We design implementation to minimize disruption. Reader installation is typically in the back of house and we will work around your needs. Staff training is conducted in convenient sessions, and we phase the rollout to ensure smooth operations throughout. Most properties can continue normal operations during implementation.
What hardware is required?
Once RFID tags are embedded in linens, properties can start easily doing inventory checks with a handheld scanner. We can also install fixed readers at key touch points (storage areas, laundry receiving, etc.) Laundris provides all necessary hardware as part of the solution and handle installation.
Is the system difficult to use?

How durable are RFID tags?

Will RFID tags damage linens or washing equipment?
No. The tags are thin, flexible, and sewn into a discreet location (typically a hem orseam). They don’t affect linen quality, guest comfort, or laundry equipment. Guestswon’t even notice them during use.
Can RFID tags be removed or fall out?
When tagged at manufacturing, they are embedded into the seams and are not removable. For retrofitted tags, they are securely sewn or heat-sealed onto the linen and are designed to remain attached throughout the item’s lifecycle. Accidental removal is extremely rare.
How accurate is RFID tracking?
